What We Do
Namibia Trade Policy and Retail Sector Charter
Trade policy refers to the standards, goals, rules and regulations that pertain to trade relations between countries. Namibia has its own policies that govern how it trades with the world. The Namibia Trade Forum contributes to shaping Namibia’s trade policy by ensuring that private sector views are encapsulated in the crafting of varying pieces of policies. The Namibia trade Forum fulfills this particular function through the following divisions: Trade in goods division, trade in services division as well as the market access division.
Trade in Goods
The Trade in Goods division of the NTF handles matters related to the trade of physical goods.
Trade in Services
In a similar fashion, the Trade in Services division of the NTF handles matters related to the trade of intangible goods.
The Namibia Trade Forum is the custodian of the Namibia Retail Sector Charter.
