SISA Namandje, the Executor of the estate of the late Dr Sam Shafiishuna Nujoma, founding President of the Republic of Namibia, has issued a strong warning against a fraudulent online report falsely linking the Founding Fathers’ name to an investment scheme.

In a statement, Senior Lawyer Sisa Namandje, acting as the Executor of Dr Nujoma’s estate, said the online article titled “The Hidden Legacy of Sam Nujoma” is completely false. The report claimed that Dr Nujoma had endorsed an investment platform called ‘Nujoma Capital’, which allegedly offered users up to N$15,000 per day and around N$400,000 per month.

“The late Dr Nujoma was never connected to such an investment platform, and his estate has no links to it,” the statement read. The Executor cautioned members of the public not to participate in schemes using Dr Nujoma’s name to defraud people.

Namandje further warned that legal action would be taken against anyone attempting to exploit Dr Nujoma’s name for fraudulent purposes. He urged the public to respect the integrity of the late President’s legacy and allow his estate to be administered transparently, in line with the honesty and dedication that Dr Nujoma demonstrated throughout his life.
