PRESIDENT Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has appointed Kristofine Aili Naunyango as advisor to the Minister of Works and Transport and manager of the Ministry’s Public Asset Management Agency, effective from 1 January 2026.
Her contract lasts until 21 March 2030.

According to the Presidency’s announcement, the appointment was made in accordance with Article 32(3)(i)(hh) of the Constitution of the Republic of Namibia, read together with the Special Advisors and Regional Governors Appointment Act, 1990 (Act 6 of 1990), as amended.

In her appointment letter, President Nandi-Ndaitwah expressed confidence and trust in Naunyango’s ability, commitment and fairness, and conveyed her best wishes as she assumes these important national responsibilities.

Naunyango has over 15 years of executive and senior management experience within corporate, legal, governance and strategic leadership.

She is a law graduate from the University of East London in the UK and also holds a Master of Leadership and Change Management degree from the Harold Pupkewitz Graduate Business School at NUST, and is currently a PhD candidate at UNAM’s Business School.
