AT LEAST one person was shot dead when unknown men tried to rob a shop in the Evululuko informal settlement of Oshakati last night.

Regional crime investigations coordinator, Deputy Commissioner Frederick Ndjadila, confirmed the incident but said that a detailed report would only be made available later.

People in the shop’s vicinity reported hearing a number of gunshots while it was raining.
